Boxford Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is situated in the village of Boxford and is built on an attractive site next to the village church. It is a local authority co-educational day school taking children from 4 - 11. The school catchment area consists of the villages of Assington, Boxford, Edwardstone, Groton, Newton Green and White Street Green. The school grounds contain a quality hard play area and a field with facilities for a range of sports and games. Also contained in the grounds is an environmental area where the children can develop an understanding and an appreciation of the natural world around them which is used for Forest School. There are also various play equipments. The school is housed in an attractive building which has been modernised throughout. There is a spacious well equipped hall which also serves as the dining area. The school has a foundation unit and seven classrooms which share three practical activity areas. There is a  beautiful, new-refurbished central library with a wide selection of both fiction and non-fiction books. Each teaching area is well resourced with quality resources for all areas of the curriculum including a set of 16 ipads.
